As an abstract and mixed media artist, I create through spontaneity, emotion and a deep instinct to make art. Working with a range of materials, I let each piece develop naturally, allowing the materials themselves to help shape the final result. This process is closely connected to my emotional landscape and becomes part of the work itself.
 
My art is inspired by the surrounding landscape. Using acrylic paint, inks, plaster, sand, paper, polymers and wood on stretched canvas, I build richly textured surfaces that reflect the rhythms and forms of nature. Each work evolves intuitively through layers of colour and material, guided by both spontaneity and feeling.

I am often drawn to large-scale pieces, as both the landscape and the materials I use seem to call for broader, more expansive work.
 
Themes in my art shift over time. I sometimes create series that explore and reinterpret particular ideas, emotions or landscape imagery in different ways, pushing my abstraction further with each piece.
 
My process is immersive and constantly evolving. I engage with the canvas in a direct, physical way and invite viewers to discover their own meanings within the layers of colour, texture and form. A painting may first be experienced as a whole, but with closer attention, new structures and details begin to appear.
 
My practice continues to grow through experimentation and discovery, guided by curiosity and an appreciation for the beauty of natural imperfection.
